Natural Ammonite Fossil Shell Set

An ammonite fossil is the preserved shell of an extinct, marine mollusk called an ammonoid, which lived from the Devonian period to the end of the Cretaceous period, 66 million years ago. These ancient animals were predators related to modern-day cephalopods like octopuses and squids.
